I Like The Way You Make Me Smile

These pictures pretty much represent our weekends. We don't do much throughout the day; that's how we like it best (for those of you who don't recognize this, it's stolen from Sandra Boynton's Belly Button Book).

Friday night we get into our pajamas and check our e-mails, take a silly picture or two.

Saturday mornings are spent with a cup of coffee and the paper. We can usually skip the comics, given our household is entertainment enough. Indy was a mountain range for the Sesame Street school bus, complete with sound effects as he ran the bus up and down her back.

Saturday afternoons are a little busier; occasionally we'll go for a drive, maybe some shopping. Sometimes we even take the bus. The drive can be a little scary given the driver is apt to climb through the windshield to chase a cat (while screaming "KITTY!!!").

Saturday nights are usually filled up with a movie star or two (and some candy to make us hyper enough to stay awake past 8:30).

Sundays are our day of rest. Nothing makes us happier than sitting down and listening to some relaxing music played by a world-class musician.

And then it's back to work. Everybody's workin' for the weekends!

Sorry Heather

You're right. I haven't been taking enough pictures of Matthew. I'll work on it.

I took these last week. He got this toy for Christmas and while he loves it, and that makes us love it, it makes the most irritating sounds. Think of a train in your livingroom (Chicka chicka chicka chicka chicka CHOO CHOO). With music. I've added a website to go to for just a sampling of what this toy does. I bet you can't stay on the site for more than 30 seconds without wanting to kill someone. Imagine that in our basement. But Matthew loves it.

And this picture, I had to put up just to give a taste of how spoiled our son is. Our basement is a pretty good size, and it ALL looks like the background of this picture. Filled with toys. FILLED. And they all make noise (I'll attach web sites later). ALL of them.
