Matthew's New Bike (Helmet)

Well, his new bike is still a little big, so he's still riding the plastic one. But, he does have a fancy new helmet, elbow and knee pads that he wears around the house -- to dinner, while watching TV, on the swing in the backyard...I drew the line at wearing it to daycare!
Have I mentioned how happy I am that spring is FINALLY here???

The Entertainer

This video is proof that Matthew does absolutely anything he can to get Sebastian to laugh. So much so that he almost makes himself sick. Of course, being the Mother of the Year that I am, I take pictures first, then make sure he's okay. It's worth it for the memories!

4 Months Old Already!

Sebastian's four month check up at the doctor told us what my arms can attest to: our "little one" is far from little. He's 18lbs and 26 1/2" long!! Amazingly, he's still on the charts for both lenght and weight, but obviously at the top end.

His personality is amazing: he's such a little ham! He does anything and everything to get any attention, especially where the grandparents are concerned. His fingers are pretty little, but he's got us all wrapped around them pretty well!

Matthew is, by far, Sebastian's favourite person. As soon as he sees him, his little face lights up and he smiles from ear to ear. In the car, Matthew takes full advantage of this and does whatever he can to get his little brother to giggle. Our car is a total zoo these days, full of raspberries (not the fruit) and screaming and laughing, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Another of Sebastian's favourite things is his mobile, especially the red monkey. He watches it so intently and kicks his feet in sheer joy. Nothing like seeing those little tree trunks shake the whole crib in anticipation of seeing the monkey come around again: "Where did you go?" "Oh, there you are." "Come back." "Oh, there you are."

We can't wait to see what the next few months will bring, as it seems like every day is a new accomplishment. Maybe someday soon he'll be able to find those chubby little feet (if he can get them past his chubby belly!).
